Conservation Association internship of invasive, exotic plant management in
Ebey's Landing National Historic Reserve, and Lewis & Clark, Fort
Vancouver, Mount Rainier, North Cascades, Olympic, and San Juan Islands
National Parks. As part of NPS EPMT, I controlled invasive species by physical,
cultural, & chemical techniques, conducted plant population identification,
survey and monitoring, input collected data using GPS & GIS technology. I
then developed the three-course internship into a Senior Honors Thesis,
an educational brochure and a photo-documentary journal.
