For two academic years, I provided direct backup for Gardeners and Grounds-keepers at Stevenson and Oakes campuses. This included various gardening activities by way of an electric vehicle, with hand-held and backpack blowers, string line trimmers, edgers; performed custodial duties and area safety inspections, safety clean-up/repair; ensured building and area security; led other student employees in completing various tasks; often conducted independent work during supervisor's absence, responsible for returning gear and locking Oakes and Stevenson Grounds Departments.
